Alfred Deakin High School will once again be opening their greenhouse doors for a few hours so that people can come and see what a working aquaponics system looks like. They have three systems in a fantastic greenhouse which are currently stocked with trout and silver perch.

Well the open day was a big hit, way more people than I thought would be! Thanks to all for coming. Alfred Deakin has kindly offered to open it's doors again just before Christmas to that we can have a look at the changes. I'll publish the details when we sort them out.

I've updated some of the pricing in the store as well as adding water tanks - I still have all the slimline tanks to add, but you can buy rain water tanks either part of your aquaponics system or separately. There's also two types of growbeds, and several fish tanks. Pumps are in there, as is the clay medium, but I'm yet to add the water test kits and some other AP related gear. Checkout the store.
I also plan on providing a budget section where you can buy recycled components which from which you can design and build your own systems.
