Capital Aquaponics is a service offering design, set-up and maintenance of Aquaponics systems. Our aim is to promote Aquaponics in Canberra, helping people to discover the harmony of this organic backyard food production cycle. We believe it is an important step in transforming Canberra into a healthy, waterwise and sustainable city.
“I started aquaponics in 2006 after seeing Joel Malcolm on a gardening television program. I realised immediately that it made so much sense. I thought — I have to do this! Successfully raising fish and cultivating continuous vegetable crops through aquaponics has been my mission since. I truly love this. Aquaponics is my passion and hobby. It fits with my environmental and permaculture world view. I subscribe to Joel Malcom’s Dream, and I hope to define and realise my own vision of sustainable living through my business, Capital Aquaponics”.
